Yes, and it's the thing we care most about. In person, every headphone is capped at the transmitter around 85 dB - the level of a busy street - and a party is 30 minutes, never 60. Online, you set the volume on your own speaker or headphones. Full policy on the Safety page.

Any screen with a browser - a laptop, a TV with a browser, a tablet propped up - and either a speaker or headphones. Headphones are the 'shush' at home: the kids hear the party, you hear the kettle.

No. Kids' cameras are off by default and the party shows the host only. Nothing about your child is recorded. Parents can opt in to a 'dance wall' clip later if they want; that's a choice, never a default.

The parent. There are no child accounts and we collect nothing about a child beyond a first name and an age band, from the parent, for the shout-outs.

Thirty minutes online, always. In person, a pop-up is an hour with two 30-minute sets and a break; a private party is 60 to 90 minutes.

Some don't, the first time. In person there's a no-headphone corner where the music is still there - just quiet - and there are spare sizes down to a three-year-old head. Most put them on by the second song when they see the lights.

Songs they know, clean edits only, plus freeze-dance and game tracks. Everything we play is licensed for the room or the stream - that's why it's never just someone's phone on shuffle.

Yes - in person anywhere we serve in Florida, and online for the kids whose friends are scattered. The birthday kid's name goes on screen and they pick the last song.
